Tobias Otto, Ph.D. (T.)

Tobias Otto is Assistant Professor of Occupational Neuroscience at the Department of Work and Social Psychology at Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Originally trained as a cognitive neuroscientist, Tobias specializes in applying neuroimaging research methods to other fields of psychology in order to tackle exciting research questions. After trying to find out why brains become friends with each other as a Postdoc in Lübeck, Germany, he now investigates the neural consequences of investing mental effort - why does our work make us tired, and how can we help our brain to recover from that?
