Looking for a part-time job while you’re studying? You can find positions through InterUM, the temporary employment agency for Maastricht University (UM).
As a non-Dutch student, you have the opportunity to work in the Netherlands during your studies. However, there are important rules regarding health insurance, work permits, income taxes and social security premiums that you must follow.
If you are aged 18 or older and living or working in the Netherlands, you are legally required to have health insurance. If you are not insured, the CAK (Dutch National Health Care Institute) can fine you.

If you are a Dutch national or have the same rights, you may be eligible for student finance (‘studiefinanciering’) from DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs).&
If you intend to continue your present study programme in the coming academic year, you will need to submit a re-enrolment request via Studielink and pay your tuition fees on time.
