On 8 May 2024, the Globalisation & Law Network hosted a seminar featuring Elies van Sliedregt, Professor of Criminal Law and Procedure at Tilburg University. 

Daan started Governance and Leadership in European Public Health (GLEPH) with a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. Driven by his fascination with policy-making, strategy, governance and communication, Daan shifted his focus past lab-based research. 

The Maastricht Centre for the Innovation of Classical Music hosted the workshop ‘Digital tech meets classical music’ together with The Plant at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences on 30 May 2024. Participants included researchers and students from FASoS, teachers from Conservatorium Maastricht and Zuyd University as well as MCICM researchers.

Aline Sierp received €50,000 in the NWO SSH XS funding scheme for the project ‘When the Past Determines the Future: The Role of Memory in Foreign Policy Decisions’. In the project, Aline will explore how political decisions are shaped by history.
