Constance Sommerey is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the whole UM community on making our organisation a place like home for students and staff alike. 

On 15th-18th of February, the Maastricht team participated in the regional final of the European Law Moot Court held at the University of Lucerne, Switzerland. Other contenders came from all over the world, and included such illustrious participants as Aix-en-Marseille, Gent and the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Peter Møllgaard (Denmark, 1964), Professor of Industrial Organization at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), has been appointed as the new dean of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE).

Research that transcends individual disciplines is highly regarded in academia, yet known to be incredibly challenging. Matthijs Cluitmans demonstrates that it is not only possible, but also of great added value. He obtained a joint PhD in 2016 from the Department of Data Science and Knowledge Engineering (DKE) and the School for Cardiovascular Diseases (CARIM). Before that, he studied both disciplines in Maastricht, and he now works for both institutes as well as at Philips Research.
