Mertens Bouwbedrijf in Weert was chosen to execute the first phase in the redevelopment of the Tapijnkazerne in Maastricht. Following a short tender procedure, Maastricht University (UM) decided Tuesday to award the contract to Mertens Bouwbedrijf BV.

At the IUSTI conference on sexually transmitted infections, Prof.dr. Christian Hoebe, professor infectious disease control (GGD South Limburg and CAPHRI research line IPG) received the best oral presentation award for his talk on the femcure study.
