Dr Renee Stalmeijer (R.E.)
Dr Renée E. Stalmeijer is trained as an educational scientist and holds a PhD in medical education obtained from Maastricht University. She is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Development and Research and the School of Health Professions Education (SHE) at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), Maastricht University. She is chair of Task Force Programme Evaluation FHML. Her research focuses on workplace learning of health professions trainees with specific attention to the role of the interprofessional working and guidance dynamic during workplace learning. She supervises several PhD projects both nationally and internationally. She teaches research methodology within the Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE), the SHE Writing a PhD Proposal Course, and during the short course Critical Choices in Qualitative Research Methodology. Renée is Qualitative Methodological Consultant for SHE.
