PRAETORIAN Meeting (FHML)
The PRAETORIAN project organised a midterm meeting at Maastricht University Brussels Hub, where they presented their research progress and showcased significant advancements. This project is funded by the European Commission's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme.

Kenyan officials visit the Hub (ECPC)
The Hub’s role is also to support the active and engaged UM community with their activities in Brussels, we hosted our colleagues from the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity (ECPC).

Study visit (FHML)
We welcomed master students from the FHML's Health and Digital Transformation programme to the Hub as part of their Brussels trip. The Hub team contributed to the creation of the programme and invited Gozde Susuzlu Briggs, Senior Programme Manager at the European Patients' Forum (EPF), to present and share insights from her experience in digital health, and the Data Saves Lives Initiative.

Kickoff YOUTHreach project (FHML)
The YOUTHReach kick-off meeting took place at the UM Brussels Hub. This project will evaluate and implement three very promising existing interventions to support young people with mental health challenges.

REMIT meeting (FSE)
The REMIT project aims to Reignite Multilateralism via Technology. A reigniting that not only reacts to China’s rise as a systemic technology rival or Russia’s resurgence as a technology abuser or the dominance of large U.S.-based digital platforms, but that sets a clear vision for the future — one in which Europe plays a leading role.

Capacity Building Programme (UNU-MERIT)
The Capacity Development Office (CDO) of UNU-MERIT was at the Hub for their Migration Management the Gambia Training (MMTG) field trip, which included visits to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), the European Commission Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG Home), as well as a networking lunch at the Hub.

Alumni Star Lectures
The Alumni Star Lecture are an evening of lifelong learning, reconnecting, and networking for UM alumni across Europe. This year's edition featured a lecture by Prof. Marjan Peeters (Maastricht University Faculty of Law) on the European Green Deal, titled "The European Green Deal: only a Green Dream?" Professor Peeters discussed the legislative actions taken by the European Union to tackle environmental problems such as loss of biodiversity and climate change.
