L.E.L.M. Ketelings

Linsay Ketelings is a PhD candidate at the Food Claims Centre Venlo (FCCV), Maastricht University. In her interdisciplenary research project she focusses on the food law involved in the labelling of (plant-based) meat alternatives and how different  consumers perceive this. Linsay is particularly interested in the possible misleading of consumers in meat alternative labelling and whether these product are considered healthier compared to meat.

Career history

Linsay Ketelings studied the bachelor Biomedical Sciences with a major in Molecular Life Sciences at Maastricht University. In 2018 she started her masters in Health Food Innovation Management at Maastricht University, Campus Venlo. After her graduation, she continued her master internship research into a PhD trajectory, supervised by Alie de Boer (Food Claims Centre Venlo), Stef Kremers (Dept. of Health Promotion) and Remco Havermans (Laboratory of Behavioural Gastronomy).
