TRAVEL TO MAASTRICHT

BY TRAIN Maastricht has excellent train connections both national and international. An intercity train connecting Maastricht with with Eindhoven, Utrecht and Amsterdam leaves every 30 minutes. Frequently there are connections to Liège, Brussels (Belgium) and Aachen (Germany) where you can change to international trains – Thalys, TGV, Eurostar, ICE – to London, Paris and other European cities. Maastricht has three railway stations: Maastricht Central, Maastricht North and Maastricht Randwyck.

BY CAR Because of the central location of the city, Maastricht is also easy accessible by car from all directions (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven - E25/A2; Brussels, Hasselt - E40 > E25/A2 or E314/A2; Paris, Liège - E40 > E25/A2; Berlin, Düsseldorf, Köln/Bonn - A79).

BY PLANE Because of its central location in Europe, Maastricht has 8 international airports within an one-hour drive: Brussels Zaventem (intercontinental); Düsseldorf International (intercontinental); Maastricht Aachen Airport; Eindhoven Airport; Brussels/Charleroi Airport; Düsseldorf/Weeze Airport; Köln/Bonn Airport; Liège Bierset Airport

Alternative airports: Schiphol Amsterdam (2,5h drive, 3h by train); Frankfurt Airport (3h drive)
