Drs Gaby Lutgens (G.M.)

Trained as an educational psychologist, I have been working in the field of instructional design and e-learning for over 20 years now. First as a researcher (focusing on facilitating computer-supported collaborative learning), then as an e-learning consultant in which role I supported teachers in redesigning their teaching, often in the light of digital opportunities.

Since 2023, I bring this expertise to EDLAB, the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Maastricht University. I focus (again) on the impact of technology on education and facilitate various projects and activities. From this perspective, I also fulfil the role of UM programme coordinator for UM's participation in the national Npuls programme (member core team, project lead CTL project).

I am also involved in the Health Professions Education master's programme (on curriculum (re)design) as an assessor.
