Work pressure & well-being
We aim to identify and address needs related to the experience of work pressure and well-being within Maastricht University (UM) of early career researchers (i.e. postdocs, assistant professors and associate professors).
Additionally, we explore to what extent and how previous suggestions were implemented in different faculties and departments. We focus on the suggestions for sustainable employability that were identified based on earlier versions of the monitor.
The Maastricht Young Academy (MYA) work pressure & well-being project is led by Boukje Compen with the team of Anna Schüth, Bram Fleuren, Irina Nikolova and Therese Grohnert.
MYA book club: Complaint! by Sara Ahmed
MYA, together with the Diversity & Inclusivity (D&I) Office and the Jan van Eyck Academie, organised a book club on Sarah Ahmed’s Complaint!
This book club was open to all students and employees of UM as well as to participants of the Jan van Eyck Academie.
We provided a nice lunch as we discussed excerpts from Ahmed’s book during lunchtime in a series of three sessions.
