For many UM students, Maastricht University Library is their ‘home away from home’. Particularly during exam weeks, when the library offers extra-long opening hours, many students spend a great deal of time there.

The library provides a pleasant study environment with:

Multimedia facilities, like the DIY-Video Studio, the DIY-Podcast Studio or the Makerspace. Want to record a video or podcast on another location? Borrow the smartphone- or podcast kit!
Information desks in both the Inner City Library and Randwyck Library. Our staff is available to answer any question you may have about studying at our locations, the collections and borrowing (e-)books.
ICT service at the Inner City Library and Randwyck Library, as well as IT facilities like printers, scanners and copiers
Wellbeing areas where you can take a break to re-energise and get inspired.
Cafés with fresh sandwiches, snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks.
And, of course, all the (e-)books, journals, databases and other materials you need for your studies!
