S.h.a.r.o.n. Anyango

My research interest lies in intersectional approaches to gender and migration. I have prior worked in the field of development between 2015 and 2018 as a Project Manager for an educational institution in Kenya, with a major focus on education provision to the youth, and eradication of FGM and child marriages.

I have been a tutor at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences for 4 years and I am currently pursuing my PhD on evolving gender expectations of Somali and Eritrean refugees in the Netherlands .
