M. Koch

I am a financial economist and work as an assistant professor of finance at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. My research particularly focuses on household and real estate finance. I work, for example, on projects related to pension system design and individuals' housing choices. 

I joined Maastricht University in May 2024. Before that, I obtained my PhD in financial economics at the University of Konstanz and a diploma in actuarial mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology.
