SHE Academy

1. SHE Learns: SHE Academy provides an opportunity to develop your academic skills and knowledge with various keynote lectures and workshops. There will be opportunities to discuss your research and be part of research yourself!
2. SHE Meets: Meet your fellow PhD candidates and SHE staff. Learn from and with each other during workshops and social activities, and discuss questions abour your research project with SHE staff and peers.
3. SHE Defends: Almost ready to finish your PhD project? We have some activities that are relevant to you! Join a mock PhD defense and an information session about the final steps of the PhD process.

Practical information

We're very much looking forward to welcome participants who are travelling from elsewhere. For short activities, participants are responsible for booking their own accommodation. The website of the Maastricht Tourist Office (VVV-kantoor) may provide you with help as it offers an overview of hotels and bed & breakfasts that are situated in the city centre of Maastricht. The Apart Hotel Randwyck and NH Maastricht are located very close to the SHE venue, at 5 minutes walking distance. Our campus is easily reachable by train, so you might consider other options in nearby cities such as: Eijsden, Valkenburg, Meersen, Sittard. (all approx. 15-20 minutes by train).
