7th International IP Congress: “Recent IP developments in Europe”

Intellectual Property Law
-

Introduction

Each year, speakers from Queen Mary University of London, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Maastricht University provide a compact and insightful update  on the most recent legal developments in the main areas of intellectual property law in Europe (copyright and related rights, patents, trade marks and geographical indications, designs, enforcement).

Within one day, new laws, proposed legislative initiatives, new case law or published studies conducted on current legislation are presented and discussed among important scholars in the field, with enough time reserved for a lively debate. In view of the 10th anniversary of the Maastricht master programme Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management (IPKM), some IPKM alumni will present recent developments in their IP practice.
