Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week: Take the Leap!

Maastricht Entrepreneurship Week (MEWeek) is the largest entrepreneurship event organized entirely by students for students in the Netherlands. With over 500 participants and an impressive line-up of speakers, MEWeek’17 has one mission – to empower individuals from all fields and backgrounds to become conscious catalysts and mobilize the world towards positive change as entrepreneurs.

Under the theme Take the Leap!,MEWeek invites you to jump across into your new venture and learn from professionals about what it means to be(come) an entrepreneur.

Workshops and evening talks
World-class speakers will give you insights about innovation, technology, blockchain, sustainability, effectuation, social entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship. Among the guest speakers are Marc Preusche from LeROI Marketing Germany, Social entrepreneur Vidar Andersen, Christopher Kampshoff- CEO Lendstar, Matt Kuppers – Founder & CEO Startup Manufactory UK.

Startup Tour
On Tuesday 16 May you can drive along with organizing team in the Startup Tour Limburg and visit several innovative startups in Limburg.

The Innovator’s Challenge - Jurofoon
The Innovator’s Challenge is the hackathon-style competition which will present a case by Jurofoon- the innovative legal-tech company that offers juridical advice for any person or company in NL directly via phone calls and online. Teams of students are challenged to work together and propose entrepreneurial solutions to the case.

Startup Market
40 local and international startups in biotech, cleantech, fintech, ICT, slow food concepts, and social startups will showcase their products and services at the Startup Market on Thursday 18 may. The market aims to connect various start-ups as well as scale-ups from NL, Belgium, and Germany and provides a platform where participants can get a cup of coffee and have a chat directly with their founders.
