UM third best university in the Netherlands according to Keuzegids Universiteiten 2022
No fewer than 9 of a total of 21 assessed bachelor's programmes at Maastricht University (UM) have been named the best in the country. 18 of these 21 programmes are among the top 3 in their field. 6 Maastricht programmes have also been awarded the Top-Level Training quality seal. This makes Maastricht University the third best university in the Netherlands according to the Keuzegids Universiteiten 2022.
Maastricht University’s three Liberal Arts and Sciences colleges retain their top positions in the Keuzegids Bachelors 2022. University College Maastricht, University College Venlo and the Maastricht Science Programme (MSP) all retain their quality seals. MSP once again tops the list.
Quality assessment
The Keuzegids assesses several aspects of our education. As the country’s most international university, UM scores highest in the categories international exchange and international outlook. The quality of English as the language of instruction at UM is also ranked top of the table. Most UM programmes score particularly high for their practice-oriented approach, their assessments and their curricula.
