UM researcher reconstructs rules of 4,000 year old game
Senet is a game that was played in ancient Egypt, and from which ancient game boards have been found. Queen Nefertiti's tomb shows a picture of her clearly playing the board game. The rules of the game are just guesswork. In Oman, archaeologists recently made a remarkable find: a 4,000-year-old board game. But there are also no rules of the game.
