“Niaga had a great idea to make carpet more durable. The entrepreneurs encountered barriers, they were unable to scale up the technology. And we happen to be very good at that. We saw it and got into it.”
The move by Dimitri de Vreeze, co-CEO of DSM, marked the development and production of the world's first fully circular carpet. The example is described in the book Blood, Sweat, but together by Harry Hummels, Wouter Scheepens and Erlijn Sie.
