“Detrusor Underactivity: from Theory to Clinical Assessment”
Keywords: bladder emptying problems, diagnosis, treatment
This dissertation focuses on diagnosing bladder emptying problems, with a specific emphasis on reduced bladder contractility. This study will make it easier to predict which patients (both male and female) are susceptible to developing similar problems in the future. This will improve the selection process for the treatment of bladder emptying problems and can help to predict which patients can forego bladder catheterisation.
