Follow the Money, Investigative Journalism
Follow the Money is a journalistic platform with a crystal clear goal: finding truth at the service of society. It conducts research into people, systems and organisations that misbehave (financially and economically) and thereby possibly cause damage to groups in society. Its weapon: radically independent investigative journalism. Whether it concerns healthcare, the financial world or politics; if you follow the money trail you will discover the truth.
Thomas Bollen (1984) works as a journalist for Follow the Money. He is a financial economist specialised in monetary policy and the banking sector. After working as a consultant in the corporate sector he made a career switch to journalism.
This lecture is organised in cooperation with the university newspaper Observant as part of a series of events to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
