Hoogleraar Pim Martens, die wetenschappelijke kennis en dierenrechtenactivisme probeert te combineren, legt uit hoe zoönosen, besmettelijke ziektes die van dieren op mensen kunnen overspringen, de complexe onderlinge samenhang aan het licht brengen tussen ons welzijn en hoe we met dieren omgaan.
