SWEPSA award for Anna Herranz-Surrallés
The International Relations (IR) section of the Swedish Political Science Association (SWEPSA) has selected Anna Herranz-Surrallés, Assistant Professor at FASoS, for the ‘2016 SWEPSA IR Rising Star‘ award. The “SWEPSA IR Rising Star” award gives the nominated researcher the chance to tour around several universities in Sweden to present and discuss his/her work.
The institutions visited by Anna Herranz-Surrallés this year, between 24 and 28 October 2016, were the Centre for European Research at the University of Gothenburg (CERGU), the Department of Political Science of Linnaeus University in Växjö, the Department of Political Science at Uppsala University, and the Swedish National Defence University (SEDU) and Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) in Stockholm. The title of her presentation was “Caught between governance and diplomacy? Dilemmas of the EU in a changing global energy landscape”, based on a recent journal article and work-in-progress book project.
