On the 16 November this year’s first Tax Seminar took place. Included in the curriculum of the master course International and European Tax Law, the topic of the first edition of the Tax Seminars was “International Tax Aspects of Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands”.

A tax seminar for students following the LL.M course in Cross-Border Taxation of Human Capital was held at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University on 12 March 2014.
The upcoming MCEL-seminar will take place on 19 April (15.00 16.30). It will be a 'case law seminar'. Assistant Professor Nicola Gundt and Anne Pieter Vander Mei will present some of the most interesting recent rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union to be followed with a discussion by the participants.
The next MCEL PhD Forum will take place on 13 April 2016 from 12 - 13:30h in room B0.118. PhD researcher Jens Hillebrand-Pohl will deliver a presentation on the European law aspects of his PhD on 'Financial transaction taxes and the right of free transfer and convertibility under international investment law'.
