Presentatie Willemine Willems tijdens EASST
Onderzoeker Willemine Willems van het project Duurzame Zorg is Rechtvaardige Zorg, heeft een presentatie gegeven over haar onderzoek naar eerstelijnspluszorg tijdens de conferentie van de European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST). Dit jaar vond de conferentie plaats van 25 t/m 28 juli 2018 op de Lancaster University in Engeland.
Tijdens het congres presenteerde Willemine haar onderzoek over de eerstelijnspluszorg in de regio Maastricht-Heuvelland bij het panel “Health professionals’ adaptation to societal and economic uncertainties, intensifying demands and growing challenges to healthcare provision”. In haar presentatie sprak Willemine over eerstelijnspluszorg als antwoord op de groeiende zorgkosten, waarbij ze inging op de gevolgen van nudging voor zorgpraktijken.
EASST is een wetenschappelijke organisatie die tot doel heeft de academische studie naar wetenschap en technologie te bevorderen. Dit doen ze onder andere door communicatie tussen wetenschappers en de zichtbaarheid van zulk onderzoek bij beleidsmakers en het grotere publiek te stimuleren.
