Besides sports, there are many other things to do at the USC. You can get a physiotherapy consultation, study in one of our Learning Spaces or enjoy a tasty coffee at the Sports café. Furthermore, one or more sports halls within the USC can be rented in order to organise sports events or other UM related events.
Do you sometimes suffer from physical complaints? Fysio Zuyd offers sports consultation hours at the University Sports Centre as well as physiotherapy treatments for UM SPORTS members. A good advice can help you prevent things from getting worse.
Would you like to learn a sport, work on your fitness and strength, or are you looking for a student sports association where you can make new friends? At UM SPORTS you can choose from a large number of sports. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to top athletes.
Would you like to become a member of UM SPORTS? UM SPORTS offers different memberships, ranging from a day pass to an annual membership. We hope to see you soon at UM SPORTS!
Maastricht has 31 student sports associations. To join one of these associations you need a Sports membership from UM SPORTS. However, your Sports membership does not include the separate membership fee of the student sports association you join.
Please note: with a UM SPORTS Gym membership or monthly membership, it is not possible to join a student sports association. You need at least a semester Sports membership.
During the INKOM and the faculty introduction period you can get to know the associations. If you want to become a member outside this period then you should contact the association you are interested in.
The University Sports Centre offers a spacious and modern facility with an extensive range of equipment for both strength and cardio training. Our cardio equipment has interactive touch screens, numerous applications, functionalities and digital entertainment. Our strength equipment includes conventional and plate loaded machines, and free weights. There are also many training accessories and tools available for numerous training exercises. Aside from working out individually, you can also join one of the group training sessions offered on a daily basis or register for a gym course to gain new skills and knowledge. An instructor is present at all times for overall supervision and to assist you if necessary.
