The Positive Impact Rating 2024 results, which evaluate business schools on their social impact and sustainability efforts, have been released. The Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE) moved up a level and is now considered a "transforming school".

In the upcoming months, we’ll share tips on Instagram for our students on how to live a healthier life. Not just a random collection, but tips based on actual research happening at our faculty. The brains behind this idea are Lieve Vonken and Gido Metz, PhD candidates at CAPHRI, the Care and Public Health Research Institute and researchers at the Department of Health Promotion.

Lauren will spend February-June 2025 in Amsterdam at NIAS among a group of international fellows who are working independently in a wide variety of disciplines, problems, and research perspectives.

Can urine be used to detect renal cell carcinoma? The current approach in the case of small renal masses is in most cases a precautionary partial or complete removal of the kidney, without knowing whether the mass is benign or malignant. Molecular epidemiologist Kim Smits is working at MUMC+ on a non-invasive biomarker test that can distinguish benign renal masses from renal cancer.

The Introduction Day is intended to give you a better idea of the various aspects of studying at Maastricht University.

How do things work at this university, where is the library, what is the city of Maastricht like and who are my fellow-students? These are just a few of the changes that you will have to cope with. The Introduction Days are intended to give you a better idea of the various aspects Maastricht University’s Bachelor's programmes.
