Universiteit Maastricht en Mondriaan organiseren vrijdag 3 februari 2017 het symposium Verstoorde Emotie; de mechanismen van het ontstaan en de behandeling van emotionele stoornissen. Dit symposium omlijst de inauguratie van Prof.Dr. K.R.J. Schruers als Hoogleraar ‘Mechanismen van affectieve stoornissen’ aan de UM.
Aansluitend op het symposium vindt de van Prof. Dr. K.R.J. Schruers plaats.

On 20 October 2016, the Maastricht University Global Health and European Public Health programmes will again organise the Annual Symposium on Global and European Health. This year's central topic is Transnationality and Health: Migrants between Vulnerability and Resilience.
The main focus of the day is on starting novel collaborations and funding opportunities for joint grants between Hasselt University and Maastricht University. There are no participation costs, but online subscription is necessary. To stimulate the interaction between researchers of Maastricht University and Hasselt University, a matchmaking session is organised at the meeting.
The keynote speaker is Prof. Dr. Carl Figdor, a world-class immunologist and Spinoza Prize winner.
