Uitgebreid profiel is alleen beschikbaar in Engels.Tot 2017 was mijn onderzoek voornamelijk gericht op cognitieve controlefuncties (bijv. selectieve aandacht, inhibitie en motorische preparatie), vooral in relatie tot leeftijd. Momenteel verken ik drie geheel andere onderzoeksrichtingen op het gebied van, vooral medisch, onderwijs: (1) instructieontwikkeling (instructional design), (2) het mentoren van studenten en (3) de relatie tussen lichamelijke activiteit (of het gebrek daaraan) en cognitie.
