The quality mark 'Blik op Werk' has been awarded to the Language Centre again for 2021-2022!
Last week, the Language Centre was once again awarded the Blik op Werk quality mark. Blik op Werk (BoW) is an independent quality and knowledge institute that is committed to the quality of services in the field of sustainable employment.
To maintain this quality mark, the Language Centre is tested every year to see if it meets all the requirements to receive the Blik op Werk quality mark status again.
Every year, this is an enormous amount of work to which many different people contribute. Well done and congratulations with this well-deserved result!
English in the international classroom: do you communicate effectively?
Do you have a good passive knowledge of English but find it difficult to put that knowledge into practice? Or do you feel insecure about your English pronunciation? After the 'Effective Communication' B2 or C1 course at the Language Centre, you will be more confident.

‘Strong performance starts with a strong relationship’, is a quote from a colleague who died too soon and who, like me, worked in special education. Danae Smeets, took part in the Dutch essay competition with the theme 'Scenario’s voor de toekomst’. Her essay ‘Nooit meer stil’ was nominated and only narrowly missed out on a win.
The FHML student shows that she has a challenging future vision and knows how to word this in a crisp and eloquent way.
