Daarom hebben de besturen van beide instellingen op 20 mei 2022 de overeenkomst getekend voor de integratie van MSM in de School of Business and Economics (SBE), één van de zes faculteiten van de UM. De inhoudelijke activiteiten op het gebied van onderwijs, onderzoek en capaciteitsopbouw van MSM worden na de zomer voortgezet binnen de UM-organisatie. Volgens planning starten de medewerkers na de zomer op hun nieuwe werkplek bij SBE: Tapijn.
