Become a MICS member
Employees of the Maastricht University Faculty of Law who conduct research on any topic related to MICS research lines are welcome to join MICS as full members. Membership enables you to participate to all regular research activities of the Centre. To join, please send a motivated request indicating the alignment between MICS and your own research to c.peristeridou@maastrichtuniversity.nl.
Join MICS as a Visiting Researcher
The Maastricht Institute for Criminal Sciences (MICS) welcomes applications from established, fully funded visiting researchers interested in a short-term research stay. Visiting Researchers work on their own research while actively engaging with the MICS academic community under the guidance of a designated MICS mentor. MICS provides research facilities and institutional support (including workspace, library access, and integration into the research environment) but does not offer financial support; applicants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, and living expenses. See for more here. Applicants must first contact a MICS member and secure their explicit agreement to act as mentor/supervisor. Interested researchers should submit a research proposal with clearly defined outputs, together with a CV, directly to the proposed MICS mentor/supervisor.
