Safety is a prerequisite for quality research and education. We aim to improve the working conditions related to social safety.
The Maastricht Young Academy has recently founded this new project on social safety and we are currently discussing our aims for the upcoming year. We are happy to hear your thoughts on this topic, so please reach out!

Maastricht Young Academy book club: “Complaint!” by Sara Ahmed
The Maastricht Young Academy, together with the Diversity & Inclusivity Office and the Jan van Eyck Academie, organize a book club on Sarah Ahmed’s “Complaint!”
This book club was open to all students and employees of Maastricht University (academic staff may claim CPD hours for this activity), as well as to participants of the Jan van Eyck Academie.
We discussed excerpts from Ahmed’s book during lunch time (food will be provided) in a series of three sessions.
