Law Faculty Day
Welcome to the UM Sustainability Day at the Faculty of Law. Our program features lectures, workshops, and open discussions on sustainability topics specific to the field of law. Our expert lecturers and workshop leaders include professionals from academia and activist organisations who will share their knowledge and experiences on various aspects of sustainability in law. This is a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments and trends in sustainability, network with professionals in the field, and gain practical knowledge on how to promote sustainable practices within the legal profession.
Day Schedule
All events take place in the Law Faculty building and garden. Everyone at UM is welcome!
11:00 - 12:30 lecture on Climate Neutrality in the EU from Prof. Peeters in B0.118.
12:30 - 14:00 Lunch with vegan soup and cake hosted by Foodbank Maastricht in the Garden.
14:00 - 17:00 Climate Fresk workshops in B0.006
16:00 - 16:30 Take a break with us for a quick snack in the Garden!
16:30 - 18:00 Workshop on Climate Litigation with a Greenpeace activist in B0.118.
19:00 - 21:00 Join our dinner and Climate Café in the Garden for open climate discussion.
