A. Masciantonio

I'm currently a post-doctoral researcher at Studio Europa Maastricht, I'm interested in how citizens use social media and how it can affect their feeling of European identity, their political participation, and their attitudes towards Europe. I'm also really invested in outreach activities, with the ambition of fostering exchanges between research and citizens.

My research interests are more broadly related to social media from a cross-media perspective. I worked on several topics, such as users' motivations, online collective action, and the association between social media and well-being.

Prior, I completed a Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of Lorraine (France).
