Overview of facilities at Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience (FPN)

The Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience has facilities for disabled students. Which facilities you may use depends on your personal situation. Do you want to request facilities? Then please contact the Disability Support Office.

Please note: the faculty decides whether you are eligible for a certain facility.

Exam facilities

  • Extension of the regular exam time with an additional 30 minutes.
  • Exam will be taken in a smaller room at the faculty.
  • Exam sheets can be printed in larger font size on A3 sized paper.
  • Use of a computer during the exam.
     

Educational facilities

  • Possible extension of deadline for papers/essays/assignments.
  • Reduced attendance obligation for scheduled tutorial groups.
  • Arrangement with respect to preferred times of scheduled tutorial groups.

Other facilities

  • The tutorial group and lectures take place in specially allocated rooms that satisfy the requirements for basic and integral accessibility and use requirements (for example, presence of a hearing induction loop).
  • Use of resting room at the campus.
    A resting room is a room where a student can take time to rest and/or can lie down or sleep. As for making use of the resting room in the faculty building: feel free to go to the UNS40 reception and ask for the key.
    Please note that the use of the resting room is only allowed in between educational activities, not during exams and/or partial exams or during tutorials where attendance is required
