Rob Schlooz (R.A.J.)

Rob Schlooz graduated in Business Economics in 2001 at the Hogeschool Zuyd. He worked for a year at the adminstrative department of Novotel Maastricht before chosing a career as accountant with Deloitte. During this time he also attended NIVRA-Nyenrode in order to complete his study Accountancy (CPA). After a couple of years he switched jobs from Deloitte to Maastricht University and filled a position at the Administrative Service Centre (currently Finance). In February 2006 he succesfully applied for the position of Project Administrator at the Department of Toxicogenomics (formerly GRAT). Currently, as Project Manager, he is involved in the management of various large scale European private-public Research projects (PHYTOME, HeCaToS, diXa, ImmunoSABR) and several national projects of which NTC (Netherlands Toxicogenomics Centre) is the largest. As of January 2019 he is managing the Knowledge Axis project BReIN (Brightlands e-infrastructure for Neurohealth), which is financed by the Province of Limburg, Maastricht University and MUMC+.
