On Monday 4 September, we will open the academic year 2023/24 at the Theater aan het Vrijthof. UM President Rianne Letschert will open the academic year with a speech on our sometimes unhealthy relationship with achievement and the role she thinks Maastricht University can play. 

All first-year FHML students, both bachelor's and master's, are welcome to join a city tour of Maastricht, offered by TreaT, to help them get to know the city better.

All first-year FHML bachelor's students are welcome to sign up for lunch with their tutorial group and get to know each other better in an informal setting.

Each master's programme coordinator is given the opportunity to organise a “drink” for their newcoming students.
