VHC presented @ 14th workshop on Costs and Assessment in Psychiatry in Venice
From 29th to 31st of March, the 14th Workshop on Costs and Assessment in Psychiatry themed “The Value of Mental Health Services” took place in Venice. Silvia Evers, Ruben Drost, Luca Janssen and Irina Pokhilenko represented Maastricht University.
Silvia chaired the session on “Value of mental health services and financing” and she was discussant for another session on “Cost / effectiveness analysis”. Ruben was discussant for the “Digital health” session. Luca and Irina were given the opportunity to present their research for the first time.
On Saturday, Luca presented the results from her study on the inclusion of criminal justice costs in economic evaluations in the session on “Mental and addictive disorders and judiciary system”.
On Sunday, Luca and Irina both presented their research done for the PECUNIA project in the session “Costs and Benefits”. Irina presented the findings of her study on the inclusion of educational costs in economic evaluations and Luca discussed her review on resource use measurement issues in economic evaluations. Together with the audience, we had an in-depth discussion afterwards and we look back on a great conference!
