Keuzegids ranking: European Studies first in the Netherlands
In the Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs 2016 seven of the seventeen UM bachelor's programmes were ranked first and twelve UM programmes were ranked in the top three (like last year) in the Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs 2016. The figures reveal that UM's Problem-Based Learning model is paying off: Maastricht has the highest four-year graduation rate in the country. According to the students, the programmes prepare well for a future job.
The Bachelor European Studies is number one for the 5th time a row, and scores well in the fields of general skills.
The Keuzegids is compiled each year by an independent editorial board at the Centre for Higher Education Information to help students select a study. The 2016 rankings were compiled based on an assessment by students and experts on the bachelor's programmes, the professors, the facilities and more.
