Elective Bachelor Year 2 / Skillslab
As of 2017, the Skillslab offers the elective Arts and Medicine: Does experiencing art make you a better doctor?.
"It takes more than just knowledge to be a good doctor. A doctor also needs skills that may not be acquired easily from books. A doctor needs to be able to critically observe and experience. In the elective Arts and Medicine: Does experiencing art make you a better doctor? students are exposed to sensory experiences and the scientific backgrounds of these experiences. Students’ observation skills are sharpened by means of the arts, and attention to the senses."
Daan Janssen, participant elective Arts and Medicine: Does experiencing art make you a better doctor? 2017
