Dr Renee Stalmeijer (R.E.)

Dr Renée E. Stalmeijer is trained as an educational scientist and holds a PhD in medical education obtained from Maastricht University. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Development and Research at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), Maastricht University. Her research, educational development and consultancy focus on workplace learning and workplace supervision both in the undergraduate and the post-graduate curriculum. She is chair of Task Force Programme Evaluation FHML. She co-supervises several PhD projects both nationally and internationally. She teaches research methodology within the Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE), the School of Health Professions Education (SHE) PhD Writing course, and during the short course Critical Choices in Qualitative Research Methodology.
