SBE wins two international case competitions in one week
The School of Business and Economics is very excited and proud to inform you that the SBE team submissions for both the CBS Invitational Case Competition (Copenhagen Business School) and the SCAN Health Virtual Business Case Competition (University of Windsor) were awarded 1st Place.
SCAN Health Virtual Business Case Competition
The team provided a solution to improve resilience within the Canadian healthcare supply chain, focusing on the disruption caused by the corona pandemic. A total of 43 teams from 11 countries participated in the competition. Huge congratulations to students Ymke van Warmerdam, Jakob Manthei, Mara Henke and Romen van den Boom and supervisor Anita Van Gils.

CBS Invitational Case Competition
The team provided strategic and responsible initiatives for Coop to successfully engage with the young generation and reach a total revenue growth of 5% over the next five years. A total of twelve selected schools across Europe participated in the competition. Huge congratulations to students Henri Léon Karaski, Jakob Manthei, Sophie Bauer and Zoë Vierhouten and their advisor Nick Sutton.
