Sustainable UM2030 builds on promoting awareness based on three pillars: education, research, and operations. The current aim is to focus on the sustainability minor and collaborations between teaching staff members of various faculties in the field of sustainability. Generally, however, Sustainable UM2030 aims to form a community, give training to staff members, and have the green office as a contact point for students.

MORSE partners then pitched the 13 MORSE themes. Dr. Ruud Gerards (profile link) started by speaking about labour, sustainable choices, and factors affecting sustainable employment. Followed by Prof. René Kemp (profile link) focusing on the social economy. Prof. Nancy Bocken (profile link) took over touching upon Business models for a circular economy. Then Prof. Ann Vanstraelen (profile link) focused on responsible business, and, lastly, Melissa Siegel and Frank Cörvers (profile link) presented their research about migration and resilience in labour markets.

Dr. Jarrod Ormiston (profile link) presented the community with expertise and interest in social and sustainable entrepreneurship. Tania Treibich introduced the topic of resilience in open economics (profile link). Dr. Mindel van de Laar (profile link) introduced the ongoing MORSE e-resilience activities. Followed by Dr. Serdar Turkeli (profile link) who spoke about the MORSE observatory, its inter-departmental research, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Prof. Dr. Mark Sanders concluded on the importance of resilience to climate change.
