Marika Madfors (M.C.)

Marika Madfors is a PhD candidate at the criminal law and criminology department at the Faculty of Law of Maastricht University. In her research she explores how evidence can be misrepresented to suspects in interrogations and interviews, taking an interdisciplinary and empirical approach to the topic. 

Marika has previously worked as a lecturer at University College Maastricht (teaching psychology/law as well as academic skills, research methods, and argumentation), and as a (junior) researcher at VU Amsterdam on a project training U.S. investigators in evidence disclosure in suspect interviews.
