Karolina Podstawa (K.I.)

Karolina Podstawa teaches courses on EU Law (both foundations and substantive) in BA programmes of the Faculty of Law and in the European Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (Fasos) as well as Privacy and Academic Writing.

She supervises BA essays and master thesis in the following areas:
- EU & human/fundamental rights protection;

- the law of EU external relations;

- law and technology (preferably approached from the EU law perspective);

- rule of law in the EU (and the current threats to it);

- data protection;

- law and linguistics;

- judicial cooperation.

She contributes to and co-ordinates courses dedicated to data protection offered by the Department and by ECPC. She is a standing member of the BA Privacy course teaching team and coordinates the MA European Data Protection and Privacy Law course.

She contributes to Global Campus master programmes in Venice (E. MA, https://eiuc.org/education/regional-programmes/ema/about.html) and in Beirut (ARMA, https://eiuc.org/education/regional-programmes/arma/master.html) teaching EU external human rights policy, Introduction to EU law and skills courses.
