My research focuses on preventing infectious disease transmission within healthcare settings outside of the hospital. My promotion team and I work to facilitate this by designing infection prevention interventions and performing qualitative studies to test the target audience's perceptions of these interventions.

After my master's Human Movement Sciences, I worked as a reseach assistant at the UM's department of Human Biology and subsequently founded my own company as a nutrition counsellor for athletes. Having done this for a short while, I realised I missed research, but not in my original field. Hence, I made the switch to public health and started as a PhD student in November 2023.
