WICKED - The Interfaculty Conference

WICKED - The Interfaculty Conference, is a student-led project and one of the Diversity and Inclusivity Grants winners. WICKED is hosting a one-day conference on Saturday 15 April 2023, to offer a space for students and staff to talk about topics that help to create an inclusive environment by bringing people from all six UM faculties together.

The core idea of  “WICKED - The Interfaculty Conference” is to give a platform to people whose ideas and opinions on university-related problems are often not considered. A diverse group of people from UM and external guests will come together to work in inclusive and interdisciplinary teams during the conference. Four tracks touch upon the topics of Sustainability, Internationalisation, Allyship or Mental Health.

During the day, staff and students can expect:

  • Informative discussions
  • Engaging workshops on mental health, internationalisation, sustainability and allyship
  • Networking opportunities with students and staff from all faculties
  • Food and drinks that will be covered by us all day

Students and staff from all faculties can register for free, and join as a participant on one of the 4 tracks. The deadline for registration is on the 1st of April. This event takes place in English.
