Monday 19 August
INKOM starts on Monday 19 Augstus by focusing on exploring the city and getting to know each other. In the morning, there will be an information market at Tapijnkazerne, where students learn more about facilities, student and study associations and carreer opportunities in Maastricht. Here they can obtain information about extracurricular programmes and activities and support services that aid a smooth transition to (student) life in Maastricht. In the afternoon, students can participate in a treasure hunt across the city in the new programme component: Unlocked Maastricht. Students will learn more about the city’s history. The evening ends with the official opening of the INKOM at the Markt (subject to change), where Maastricht and its residents are very welcome to attend the festivities. Entrance is free.

Tuesday 20 August
Tuesday, August 20 is all about sports. For the early birds, the day starts with a workout by UM SPORT. This is then followed by the SportsEvent at Tapijn. Here students can get to know the many student sports associations and participate in the activities that these associations offer. In the afternoon, the Geusseltbad will turn into the Aqua Lounge. At the same time, INKOM offers alternatives, including a comedy show, bowling and Prison Island for participants who rather stay on dry land. Traditionally, this will be followed by the MECC Tuesday Party: 'INKOM LIVE!' with a dazzling music programme.

Wednesday 21 August
On Wednesday you will discover everything that Maastricht has to offer students in addition to their studies. ‘Build your Future’ kicks off the day; this is a new component where students are introduced to a diverse range of (regional) career options during and after their studies. Followed by an introduction to various student/study parties during the Activities of Choice. In the evening, students and other residents of Maastricht meet each other during a discovery tour in the Bonnefanten Museum, with a wide range of cultural activities. 

Thursday 22 August
The last day of INKOM 2024 starts with More to Explore. This event focuses on students’ mental health. During Summer Valley at the Tapijnkazerne, all student parties present themselves to the participants. INKOM 2024 Building Bridges will conclude in the MECC with the Heineken Silver Night.
